A jealous Scalosian who serves Deela and resents her choice of Kirk as mate in Wink of an Eye.
Rael is the Scalosian scientist who leads the technical side of the takeover of the Enterprise in Wink of an Eye. He is devoted to Deela and resents her attraction to Kirk, even as he supports the plan to use the crew as mates.
Rael installs the device meant to place the crew in suspended animation. His jealousy breaks into the open in a fight with Kirk, and once Spock joins Kirk in accelerated time and the device is disabled, Rael and the other Scalosians are returned to their planet. He was played by Jason Evers.
