A Romulan senator who presented himself as an ally of Spock's reunification movement while secretly working against it.
Pardek was a member of the Romulan Senate who had known Spock for years and supported, in public, the idea of reunification between Vulcans and Romulans. In Unification Spock went to Romulus to work with the underground movement, and Picard and Data followed to find out why he had gone.
Pardek proved to be working with Sela and Proconsul Neral. Their plan used the reunification movement as cover for a Romulan invasion of Vulcan. Picard, Data and Spock exposed the plan before the invasion could succeed.
