The leader of the Aenar, who allows Archer and Shran to seek her people's help.
Lissan is the Speaker of the Aenar, the reclusive, telepathic people who live beneath the ice of the Andorian homeworld. In The Aenar, Archer and Shran come to the Aenar to find out why one of them is piloting a Romulan drone ship.
Lissan permits Archer to be scanned telepathically so her people can judge his intentions. Once satisfied, she allows Jhamel to help in the effort to reach her brother Gareb. Her caution reflects how carefully the Aenar guard their isolation.
