A humanoid huntress and tracker chosen for the mission to recover the Soul of Skorr, who takes a keen interest in Kirk.
Lara is a humanoid huntress with an unfailing sense of direction, chosen by the Vedala as the tracker for the quest in The Jihad. She joins Kirk, Spock, the Skorr prince Tchar and two other specialists on a mission to find the stolen Soul of Skorr on a violently unstable planet.
Lara is open about her attraction to Kirk, and her skills help guide the team through shifting terrain to the hiding place of the artifact. She survives the mission, which ends with Tchar unmasked as the thief.
