A Klingon officer under Koloth whose insults toward the Enterprise in a station bar start a brawl in The Trouble with Tribbles.
Korax serves aboard Captain Koloth's battlecruiser in The Trouble with Tribbles and comes aboard Deep Space Station K-7 with other Klingons on shore leave. In the station's bar, he provokes the Enterprise crew by mocking Kirk and the Enterprise in increasingly crude terms.
Scott holds his temper until Korax insults the ship itself, at which point Scott punches him and a full-scale brawl breaks out between the Klingons and the Enterprise crew. Kirk later questions the participants and restricts Scott to quarters, though Scott is pleased to be able to read his technical journals. Korax was played by Michael Pataki.
