Nadet's son and a leader of the Novans, wary of the humans who arrive on Terra Nova.
Jamin is a member of the Novan community descended from the lost Terra Nova colony. Raised underground after the adults died of radiation, he has grown up believing Earth betrayed the colony. In Terra Nova he and his mother Nadet meet Archer and lead him to Malcolm Reed, whom the Novans have shot and captured.
Jamin is suspicious of the visitors throughout and warns Archer that Reed will be harmed if he is not returned. His distrust gives way only after Nadet accepts the truth about the colony's past, and the Novans agree to move to an uncontaminated part of the planet.
