A young conn officer of the Enterprise-E who was assimilated during the fight to stop the Borg in Star Trek: First Contact.
Lieutenant Hawk served at the helm of the Enterprise-E. In Star Trek: First Contact, when the Borg had taken over much of the ship, he joined Picard and Worf on a spacewalk across the hull to stop the Borg from using the deflector dish to contact the Collective.
During the fight, Hawk was assimilated and turned against his crewmates, and he was killed in the struggle. The others completed the mission, destroying the Borg's beacon.
