Leader of the Ennis, condemned to fight and be revived endlessly on a Gamma Quadrant prison moon alongside his enemies, the Nol-Ennis.
Golin Shel-la leads the Ennis in Battle Lines. When Sisko's runabout crash-lands on a Gamma Quadrant moon, Shel-la and his people take in the survivors and explain that they are at war with the Nol-Ennis, who attack soon after.
The moon is a prison: artificial microbes revive everyone who dies there, so both sides have been sent to fight forever. Sisko persuades Shel-la to meet the Nol-Ennis leader Zlangco, but the talks fail and the battle resumes. Jonathan Banks played Shel-la.
