A Malurian posing as an Akaali shopkeeper while secretly running a mining operation that poisons the local population.
Garos runs a curio shop in an Akaali city, but his DNA reveals he is not Akaali. In Civilization he admits to Archer and Tucker that he is from Malur and claims to be part of a survey mission whose machinery only makes food and clothing, dismissing the local sickness as an incurable native virus.
In truth he is mining a veridium isotope, and the toxic by-product, tetracyanate 622, is poisoning the water. When the Malurians bring a warship into orbit, T'Pol beams their power plant into its path and cripples it, ending the operation.
