Farek was the Ferengi doctor aboard the Krayton who wanted to probe Lwaxana Troi's mind to study Betazoid telepathy.
Farek was a Ferengi physician aboard DaiMon Tog's ship Krayton in Ménage à Troi. After Tog kidnapped Lwaxana Troi, Deanna Troi and Riker, Farek hoped to use mind probes to study Lwaxana's telepathic abilities and uncover how they worked.
Lwaxana outwitted him, and when he caught her trying to trick Tog, she used her telepathy to inflict mental pain on him. Farek ended up as one more Ferengi beaten by Lwaxana's resourcefulness before her release. Ethan Phillips played him.
