The gentle cellmate who shares Miles O'Brien's implanted twenty years of imprisonment and whom O'Brien believes he killed.
Ee'Char is the fellow prisoner who shares the cell in the memories implanted in Miles O'Brien by the Argrathi in Hard Time. Over what O'Brien experiences as twenty years, Ee'Char teaches him how to endure confinement, keeping his mind active through talk, games and drawing on the walls.
Back on the station, O'Brien hallucinates Ee'Char and hides the fact that he ever had a cellmate. He finally confesses that he killed Ee'Char in a moment of hunger and paranoia, wrongly believing his friend was hiding bread from him. Ee'Char was played by Craig Wasson.
