A widowed Talaxian mother on a hidden asteroid colony who fell for Neelix, and with whom he chose to make his home when he left Voyager.
Dexa is a Talaxian living on an asteroid colony in Homestead, thousands of light years from Talaxian space. Her people have been driven from planet to planet and have built a small settlement on the asteroid, but a miners' cooperative wants them gone. She takes in Neelix after his Delta Flyer crash and the two grow close.
Neelix helps her people defend themselves against the miners and then decides to leave Voyager to stay with Dexa and her son Brax. Dexa is seen with Neelix again when he speaks to Voyager in Endgame.
