A Klingon general hailed as a peacemaker who was in truth the butcher of J'Gal, killed by Dr. M'Benga.
Dak'Rah was a Klingon general who defected to the Federation and became its ambassador to the Klingons, celebrated for supposedly killing his own officers after learning they had ordered attacks on civilians on the moon of J'Gal. He was played by Robert Wisdom.
Aboard the Enterprise, veterans of J'Gal including M'Benga, Christine Chapel and Erica Ortegas were uneasy around him. M'Benga revealed that Dak'Rah had ordered the atrocities himself and that M'Benga had killed the officers whose deaths Dak'Rah claimed; in the fight that followed, M'Benga killed him. His daughter Bytha later sought revenge.
