The Starbase 11 commodore who convened the court martial when Kirk was accused of causing the death of Ben Finney.
Stone is the commodore in charge of Starbase 11 when the Enterprise arrives after the apparent death of Ben Finney. Reviewing the computer log, which seems to show Kirk jettisoning the ion pod before he needed to, he gives Kirk the option of accepting a ground assignment.
When Kirk refuses, Stone convenes a general court martial and sits on the board that hears the case. He later allows the proceedings to move aboard the Enterprise, where the crew's discovery of Finney ends the trial. He was played by Percy Rodriguez.
