Bargh is the Klingon leader of the Oversight Council and Dorg's brother, who blocks Ma'ah's appeals until Ma'ah kills him in combat.
Bargh is the brother of Dorg, the Klingon captain Ma'ah killed aboard the Che'Ta. As leader of the Klingon Oversight Council, he abuses his position to deny Ma'ah's appeals after Ma'ah is stripped of his captaincy for allowing his crew to mutiny.
In A Farewell to Farms, Ma'ah has retreated to his family farm rather than serve under Bargh. Encouraged by Boimler, Ma'ah confronts the tyrant and kills him, then resolves to start his career anew with his brother Malor at his side. Bargh's death in turn sets his sister Relga on a path of revenge.
