Corporal Amanda Cole is one of the Military Assault Command Operations soldiers assigned to Enterprise for its mission into the Delphic Expanse. In Harbinger she begins spending time with Trip Tucker, and T'Pol, still struggling to master her emotions, shows signs of jealousy.
The jealousy helps push T'Pol and Tucker together for the first time later in the episode. Cole is one of the MACOs serving under Major Hayes during the Xindi mission, part of the uneasy mix of soldiers and Starfleet crew aboard the ship that season.
