A derelict alien shuttle with a neural interface whose intelligence took control of Tom Paris and tried to carry him home to a particle fountain.
Alice is the name Tom Paris gives to an alien shuttle he buys from the junk dealer Abaddon in Alice. The craft has a neural interface that reads and responds directly to its pilot's mind, and as Paris restores it he begins to hear it speaking to him. It even appears to him in the form of a woman.
Paris grows obsessed, neglecting his duties and B'Elanna Torres, and the shuttle traps Torres and cuts off her life support when she investigates. Alice then flies Paris toward a particle fountain, until Torres reaches him through the interface and Tuvok severs the link.
