A Xyrillian engineer whose friendship with Trip Tucker leaves him the first human male on record to become pregnant.
Ah'len is the engineer aboard a cloaked Xyrillian ship that has been drawing power from Enterprise's exhaust. In Unexpected, Trip Tucker spends three days helping her repair her vessel, and the two grow close. She shows him a holographic recreation of the city of Thera on her homeworld and plays a seemingly harmless telepathic game with him.
The game turns out to have transferred a Xyrillian embryo to Tucker. When Enterprise finds the Xyrillians again, Ah'len apologises, saying she did not know a pregnancy with another species was possible, and the embryo is safely moved to a Xyrillian host.
