Adreek-Hu is Captain Chakotay's first officer on the USS Protostar, who escapes with him and later dies trying to save their marooned ship.
Adreek-Hu is the first officer of the USS Protostar under Captain Chakotay. In Who Saves the Saviors, Dal and his friends find themselves in the same holding cell as Chakotay and Adreek, and Dal accidentally drops a phaser that lets the two officers escape to their ship, altering history.
The pair end up marooned on the planet Ysida for ten years. In Last Flight of the Protostar, the crew learns that Adreek walked out into a storm to collect antimatter, and his disappearance broke Chakotay's spirit. Dal finds his body along with the antimatter he gathered to repower the ship. Adreek-Hu was voiced by Tommie Earl Jenkins.
