A singer among the space hippies following Sevrin to Eden, who dies after eating poisonous fruit on the planet.
Adam is one of the followers of Dr. Sevrin in The Way to Eden, a musician whose singing and guitar playing win over many of the Enterprise crew, including Spock, who joins him in a jam session.
Adam takes part in the plan to commandeer the ship and fly to the planet the group believes is Eden. On the surface, he eats one of its fruits, which prove deadly, and is found dead beneath a tree. His death reveals how false the paradise is. He was played by Charles Napier.
