A blunt Vulcan cadet aboard the Enterprise whom Nyota Uhura mentored during the ship's fourth season of missions.
A'Sha is a Vulcan cadet serving aboard the Enterprise, introduced in Valles Marineris and seen again in A Case of Chiaroscuro. Often blunt with her superiors, she becomes a mentee of Nyota Uhura, who is finding her footing as a teacher and officer.
In Orders of Magnitude, A'Sha is stabbed by Andorian pirates who lured a landing party into a cave with a fake distress call. Uhura defeats the pirates and is promoted to lieutenant junior grade, but she regrets that A'Sha plans to leave Starfleet after the ordeal.
