People of Coridan, a world rich in dilithium whose planet's admission to the Federation was the central question at the Babel Conference.
Coridan is rich in dilithium and, in the 22nd century, held the largest starship construction yards in its sector. Its government was opposed by an armed anti-government movement.
In Shadows of P'Jem, Coridan rebels led by Traeg captured Archer and T'Pol, leading to a tense rescue by Tucker, Reed, Shran and a Vulcan team. A century later, in Journey to Babel, delegates travelled to the Babel Conference to debate whether Coridan should be admitted to the Federation, a question that sparked intrigue and murder aboard the Enterprise.
