Warship of the Vidiians, a species ravaged by the Phage who harvested organs from other species and were among Voyager's most persistent foes.
Vidiian warships were vessels of the Vidiian Sodality, a once great civilisation ruined by the Phage, a disease that consumed their bodies. To survive, Vidiian harvesters captured people from other species and took their organs, and their warships were armed to disable a target and board it.
Voyager first learned of them in Phage, when Vidiians stole Neelix's lungs. In Faces, the Vidiian scientist Sulan split B'Elanna Torres into separate human and Klingon beings while hunting for a cure, and in Deadlock Vidiian soldiers boarded one of two duplicate Voyagers to harvest its crew.
Not every Vidiian was an enemy. In Lifesigns, the Doctor fell in love with Danara Pel, a Vidiian physician he treated in sickbay. The warships returned in Fury, when an older Kes, bitter after leaving Voyager, led a Vidiian attack on the ship in an attempt to change her own past.
