In Hero Worship, Timothy began imitating Data and claimed to be an android, hiding his belief that he had caused the disaster by touching a console. The Enterprise learned that the Vico had been destroyed by gravitational waves reflected off its own shields, and Data saved the Enterprise from the same fate by lowering the shields.
