A large warship built in secret by Admiral Marcus in the Kelvin timeline.
The USS Vengeance was a Dreadnought-class warship in the Kelvin timeline, seen in Star Trek Into Darkness. It was larger, faster and far more heavily armed than the Enterprise, and was built in secret by Admiral Alexander Marcus, who believed war with the Klingons was coming.
Marcus had revived Khan from the Botany Bay and forced him to help design weapons for Section 31. After Khan escaped, Marcus came after the Enterprise in the Vengeance and opened fire, nearly destroying it. Kirk and Khan then crossed to the Vengeance through space in an uneasy alliance.
Once aboard, Khan turned on Kirk and killed Marcus, taking control of the ship. Spock tricked Khan into accepting the torpedoes he wanted, which exploded and crippled the Vengeance. The ship fell from orbit and crashed into San Francisco, causing major damage to the city.
