An Intrepid-class starship that carried a Federation delegation, and a hidden Section 31 agenda, to Romulus during the Dominion War.
The USS Bellerophon was an Intrepid-class starship that served during the Dominion War. In 2375 it carried Admiral William Ross and a Federation delegation, including Julian Bashir, to a conference on Romulus.
The voyage was cover for a Section 31 operation run by Luther Sloan, who used Bashir as an unwitting pawn in a scheme to strengthen a Federation asset inside the Romulan government and bring down Senator Cretak. Bashir uncovered the plot aboard the Bellerophon and on Romulus, but could not prevent its outcome, and he learned that Ross had been complicit.
