Unfamiliar Borg vessel used by renegade drones following Lore in 2369, which attacked Federation outposts and escaped through a transwarp conduit.
In 2369 a group of Borg who had lost their connection to the Collective followed the android Lore, and they used a vessel unlike any Borg ship seen before. The renegade drones carried energy weapons and spoke of themselves as individuals.
In Descent, the ship attacked the Federation outpost on Ohniaka III and fired on the Enterprise-D before vanishing into a vortex. It struck another outpost, and the Enterprise followed it through the conduit, eventually finding the planet where Lore had gathered the renegades, Hugh among them.
