Fast Orion ship that shadowed the Enterprise on its way to the Babel conference in 2267, guided by a spy aboard.
In 2267 an unidentified and extremely fast ship shadowed the Enterprise as it carried delegates to the Babel conference on the admission of Coridan to the Federation. It proved to be an Orion vessel, working to set the Federation's members against one another.
In Journey to Babel, the ship stayed in contact with Thelev, an Orion spy disguised as an Andorian delegate, who stabbed Kirk. When it attacked, Kirk lured it close by feigning damage and then disabled it, and its crew destroyed their own ship rather than be captured, while Thelev took poison.
