Romulan warbird commanded by Toreth, aboard which a disguised Deanna Troi helped smuggle defectors to the Federation.
The Khazara was a Romulan D'deridex-class warbird commanded by Commander Toreth. In Face of the Enemy, Romulan dissidents abducted Deanna Troi and altered her appearance so she could pose as Major Rakal of the Tal Shiar, who joined the Khazara on a secret mission.
The mission, arranged by Sub-Commander N'Vek and the underground movement Spock had joined on Romulus, was to smuggle high-ranking defectors, including Vice-Proconsul M'ret, into Federation space hidden in stasis aboard the warbird. Troi clashed with the suspicious Toreth throughout, and when the plan unravelled she used her Tal Shiar authority to take control of the ship and see the defectors safely delivered to the Enterprise.
