A desert world where Benjamin Sisko uncovers the Orb of the Emissary and reopens the Bajoran wormhole.
Tyree is a barren desert planet visited in Shadows and Symbols. In Image in the Sand, Sisko has a vision of himself digging in the sand of Tyree, and he travels there with his father Joseph, his son Jake and the newly joined Ezri Dax to search for the Orb of the Emissary.
Guided by his visions, Sisko digs up the Orb's ark in the desert. Opening it releases an energy vortex that drives the Pah-wraiths out of the wormhole and reopens it, and Sisko learns that a Prophet once inhabited his mother, Sarah.
