English film editor and director who directed Star Trek: Nemesis, the final film featuring the Next Generation cast.
Stuart Baird, an English film editor and director born in 1947, directed Star Trek: Nemesis in 2002, the tenth Star Trek feature and the final film to star the full Next Generation cast. He also provided the voice of the Scimitar's computer. Baird came to the project after re-cutting films such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Mission: Impossible 2 for Paramount.
Baird is best known as an editor, with Academy Award nominations for Superman and Gorillas in the Mist, and he directed Executive Decision and U.S. Marshals.
