In Star Trek: Starfleet Academy he plays the recurring antagonist Nustopher Braka, known as Nus, a part-Klingon, part-Tellarite outlaw with an ominous connection to the past of one of the cadets. Giamatti has said that the lengthy makeup process helped him get into character.
