American actress, director and writer who played Ensign Samantha Wildman, mother of Naomi Wildman, on Voyager.
Nancy Hower is an American actress, director, screenwriter and producer. On Star Trek: Voyager she had a recurring role as Ensign Samantha Wildman, a science officer who was pregnant when the ship was stranded in the Delta Quadrant.
Wildman's daughter Naomi became the first child born aboard Voyager, and the two characters gave the series a glimpse of family life on a ship far from home. Hower has since worked largely behind the camera as a writer and director.
