Australian actor who played the vengeful Romulan Nero, the villain of Star Trek (2009).
Eric Bana (born 1968) is an Australian actor who began in sketch comedy before gaining acclaim for The Castle and Chopper. His international films include Black Hawk Down, Hulk, Troy and Munich.
In Star Trek (2009) Bana played Nero, a Romulan mining captain from the future who blames Spock for the destruction of Romulus. Nero's attack on the USS Kelvin and later destruction of Vulcan create the alternate Kelvin Timeline in which the three films are set. Bana's heavily tattooed, make-up-intensive performance gave the film its antagonist.
