The government of the reclusive, fiercely territorial Tholians, known for enforcing their borders with precise demands.
The Tholian Assembly is the state of the Tholians, a crystalline species that lives in extreme heat and guards its territory fiercely. In The Tholian Web, Commander Loskene of the Assembly orders the Enterprise out of space the Tholians claim, then traps it inside an energy web.
Enterprise depicts earlier encounters, including Future Tense, in which the Tholians battle the Suliban to capture a ship from the future. In the mirror universe two-parter In a Mirror, Darkly, the Tholians salvage the USS Defiant before the Terrans take it.
