The 2259 Kelvin-timeline bombing of a London archive that was secretly a Section 31 facility, carried out by an officer coerced by Khan.
In 2259 Thomas Harewood, a Starfleet officer in London, was desperate to save his dying daughter. A man calling himself John Harrison, in truth Khan Noonien Singh, offered to cure her with a transfusion of his own blood in return for a terrible favor.
Harewood carried a bomb into the Kelvin Memorial Archive and set it off, killing himself and many others. The archive was in fact a secret Section 31 facility. The bombing led Starfleet's senior officers to gather in San Francisco, where Khan struck again.
