Pirates raid Enterprise in the Expanse, and Archer tracks them to a vast cloaked sphere while learning to use harsher methods.
Enterprise is hit by spatial anomalies that disrupt its systems, and Osaarian pirates take advantage to raid the ship and steal supplies. Reed's team captures one of them, Orgoth.
Archer interrogates the prisoner forcefully, even putting him in an airlock to extract information, a sign of the harder approach the mission demands. The crew tracks the pirates to their base inside a huge cloaked sphere, one of many structures that seem to be causing the anomalies, and recovers the stolen data. The episode was directed by David Straiton and written by Mike Sussman.
