A Romulan senator who supported Shinzon's coup and left the Senate chamber before its members were killed.
Tal'aura is a member of the Romulan Senate. While the praetor and the other senators debate an alliance with the Reman leader Shinzon, she leaves the chamber, abandoning a device that releases thalaron radiation and kills those inside.
In Star Trek: Nemesis, the massacre of the Senate opens the way for Shinzon to take control of the Romulan Star Empire, and Tal'aura is among the Romulans who back his seizure of power. Her quiet departure from the chamber marks her as part of the conspiracy. She was played by Shannon Cochran.
