Sarjenka was a girl from Drema IV, a planet whose people did not know that life existed beyond their world. In Pen Pals Data picked up her radio call and began talking with her secretly, keeping his identity hidden, as her planet suffered growing earthquakes.
Picard at first held to the Prime Directive, but when he heard her plea he agreed to help. Data beamed down and brought her aboard the Enterprise while the crew stabilised the planet. Afterwards Dr. Pulaski erased her memory of the encounter, and Data returned her home. Nikki Cox played her.
