The Romulan commander who captures the Enterprise in the Neutral Zone and is drawn to Spock while Kirk steals her ship's cloaking device.
The unnamed Romulan Commander leads a squadron that surrounds the Enterprise when it crosses the Neutral Zone in The Enterprise Incident. Kirk appears to be acting irrationally, and Spock tells her that the captain has lost his mind, then appears to kill him with a Vulcan death grip during a struggle.
The Commander sees in Spock a possible defector and companion, and the two share an attraction. It is all part of a Starfleet mission: Kirk, surgically disguised as a Romulan, sneaks aboard her flagship and steals its new cloaking device. When the deception is discovered, the Commander is beamed to the Enterprise with Spock and is taken back to Federation space as a prisoner. She was played by Joanne Linville.
