The young son of Sam and Aurelan Kirk, who survives the parasite attack on Deneva that kills both of his parents.
Peter Kirk is the son of George Samuel Kirk and Aurelan Kirk and the nephew of James T. Kirk. He lives with his parents on the colony world Deneva when the planet is overrun by flying neural parasites in Operation -- Annihilate!.
Peter is found unconscious and in pain after being infected, and is taken to the Enterprise's sickbay. He loses both parents to the creatures but is saved when the parasites are destroyed with intense light, leaving him in his uncle's care. He was played by Craig Hundley, who later played Tommy Starnes in And the Children Shall Lead.
