Lieutenant O'Connor is a Cerritos officer devoted to achieving spiritual ascension, which he finally reaches while saving Tendi's life.
O'Connor is a lieutenant junior grade aboard the USS Cerritos who has spent years pursuing spiritual ascension to a higher plane of existence. In Moist Vessel, a clumsy D'Vana Tendi interrupts his ascension ritual, and she spends the episode pestering him to accept her apology.
When xenoforming material from a disabled generation ship overruns the Cerritos, O'Connor risks his life to save Tendi. The selfless act triggers his ascension, which proves to be painful and leaves him with a vision of a koala. He was voiced by Haley Joel Osment.
