Nuria was the leader of a Mintakan village who visited the Enterprise and learned that Picard was a mortal man, not a god.
Nuria led the Mintakan village near a hidden Federation observation post in Who Watches the Watchers. When one of her people, Liko, began to treat Picard as a god, the belief spread and threatened to undo centuries of rational progress in Mintakan culture.
Picard broke with normal procedure and brought Nuria aboard the Enterprise to show her the truth. She saw a crew member die in sickbay and understood that these strangers were mortal, however advanced. Nuria returned to the surface with Picard and helped her people accept the truth. Kathryn Leigh Scott played her.
