Noum is a Tellarite doctor serving under Admiral Janeway aboard the USS Dauntless and later the USS Voyager-A.
Noum is a Tellarite medical officer who serves with Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway aboard the USS Dauntless during her search for the Protostar, alongside first officer Tysess. In the second season he continues to serve with Janeway aboard the new USS Voyager-A, which carries the Protostar's young crew as cadets.
