Nevala was a Romulan who took part in the hijacking of USS Prometheus and interrogated Voyager's Doctor.
Nevala was a Romulan operative who, along with Rekar and others, captured the experimental warship USS Prometheus. The Romulans planned to take the prototype and its multi-vector assault mode back to their own space.
In Message in a Bottle, Nevala encountered Voyager's Doctor when he went to the bridge under the pretense of treating an infection. Captured and questioned, the Doctor stalled the Romulans long enough for the EMH Mark II to release anesthetic gas through the ship's systems, leaving Nevala and her crew unconscious.
