An investigator who helped Voyager uncover the cloaked Ba'neth after one of them attacked Tuvok and left him with brain damage.
Naroq is a deputy investigator who joins Voyager in Riddles, after Tuvok is struck by a weapon of an invisible alien while returning from a diplomatic mission with Neelix. For years Naroq has pursued the Ba'neth, a cloaked species whose existence few believe in, and he hopes Tuvok's encounter will prove his theories.
Tuvok's injury has left his memory and personality badly damaged. Naroq presses for the information locked in his mind, while Neelix helps him recover. Once Tuvok recalls the cloaking frequency, Voyager exposes a hidden Ba'neth station.
