A shape-shifting prisoner on Rura Penthe who helped Kirk and McCoy escape the penal asteroid, while secretly leading them into a trap.
Martia is a chameloid, a shapeshifter able to take on any form, serving a sentence on the Klingon penal asteroid Rura Penthe. She befriends Kirk and McCoy after their conviction for the assassination of Chancellor Gorkon and offers to guide them out of the mines to the surface.
Once outside the magnetic shield, she reveals that the escape was arranged by the prison commandant so that they would be killed while fleeing. Taking on Kirk's form to confuse their captors, she is shot dead before Spock beams Kirk and McCoy aboard. She was played by Iman.
