Equinox crewman who stood by Captain Ransom when he turned against his own crew's crimes and survived to serve aboard Voyager.
Marla Gilmore was an ensign aboard the USS Equinox who helped build the ship's alien-fueled warp enhancements. Played by Olivia Birkelund, she was haunted by what the crew had done but went along with it. When Ransom finally turned against the scheme, Gilmore supported him against the mutiny led by Max Burke, and Ransom transported her to Voyager before he steered the failing Equinox away to its destruction.
Gilmore was one of five Equinox survivors who joined Voyager's crew, stripped of rank and serving under supervision until Janeway judged them trustworthy.
