A Menk orderly at the Valakian clinic whose people may be on the verge of a great awakening.
Larr is a Menk who works as an orderly in the Valakian clinic visited by the Enterprise crew in Dear Doctor. The Menk live alongside the Valakians but are treated as a lesser people, and Hoshi Sato befriends Larr while learning about his species.
Phlox's research shows that the Menk are not sick and may be undergoing an awakening, while the Valakians have been stifling and underestimating them. That discovery shapes Phlox and Archer's decision not to give the Valakians a full cure, a choice that weighs on the future of Larr's people.
