Korris was a renegade Klingon who longed for the old warrior ways and tried to recruit Worf before dying in the Enterprise's engine room.
Korris was one of three Klingons the Enterprise rescued from a damaged freighter in Heart of Glory. He claimed they had been attacked, but the Klingons were in fact fugitives who had seized the freighter and fought a Klingon ship, rejecting the peace with the Federation as a betrayal of the warrior's life.
Korris saw Worf as a kindred spirit and tried to persuade him to join them in seeking glorious battle. After a Klingon commander arrived to demand the fugitives, Korris escaped custody, reached main engineering and threatened to destroy the ship. Worf refused to follow him and shot him. Vaughn Armstrong played him.
